It all started at the Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, Texas in 2018 when both Joe and Michelle were speaking at HeroConf. The original intention was to co-write a book about audiences in PPC since both Joe and Michelle spoke and wrote a lot about Remarketing, Display, YouTube, and audiences in paid social campaigns. It seemed like a great idea until they realized how much more fun creating videos was after recording their course on Audiences in PPC for CXL in 2018. From that moment, the Paid Media Pros YouTube channel was born. The goal is to provide in-depth how-to and strategy-focused videos on a variety of topics in paid media twice a week.
Besides working on the channel, both Michelle and Joe have written for industry publications such as Search Engine Land, Search Engine Journal, Social Media Examiner, WordStream, SEMrush, PPC Hero, and more.
